A 10K event is also offered.

The course starts at the McArthur parking lot below Wyeth Hill, follows the River Bluff Trail to Krug Park, and then returns.

Getting to the start

McArthur parking lot area, near 1599 Douglas MacArthur Dr, St. Joseph, MO 64501 (bottom of Wyeth Hill) — no public transit, car access only

Start/finish at the McArthur parking lot at the base of Wyeth Hill; course runs the River Bluff trails to Krug Park and back. One secondary source names race HQ as the Remington Nature Center, 2202 MacArthur Dr — both are on the same MacArthur Dr corridor near River Bluff Trails Park.

No public transit to the trailhead; car access only.

St. Joseph's river bluff trail venue is in a small-city/rural setting with only a minimal local transit system that is not practical for reaching the race site.

There is no dedicated transit smart card here; a personal or rental vehicle is recommended.

READY TO RUN

Registration is online through UltraSignup.

Bib and race materials can be picked up in advance on Friday, December 18, the day before the race,

at Tubes, a bicycle shop in downtown St. Joseph.

If you miss the advance pickup, they can be collected from start line starting at 6:30 AM on race day.

The event is organized by the local trail running club Pony Express Trail Runners.

All three distances—the 50K, 25K, and 10K—have well-marked course and aid stations, followed by an after-party at finish after the finish.
