“I ran the latter with my 5-year-old daughter–her second race ever–and she had a blast!”

At the 2025 Run & Fun du Giffre, the runner enjoyed the family Fun Run with their five-year-old daughter, then won the mostly uphill 5km course in 17 minutes, 49 seconds for the second year running. They beat their expectations on the rough trail and welcomed the event's growing running community.

Gare Routière de Samoëns (bus station) via line Y94/Y02

Main start/finish is Place du Gros Tilleul in the center of Samoëns village. No train station in Samoëns; nearest SNCF station is Cluses (~20 km away).

Bus line Y94 connects Cluses station to Samoëns' bus station, a ~40-45 minute ride.
