THE DREAM
This is the Piraeus edition of the Hellenic Athletics Federation’s Run Greece series.
Centered on a 10km starting near Kanari Square, it also includes a 5km and family and children’s races.
It is a city race run in the sea breeze of a port city directly accessible by the Athens Metro.
Picture the course in advance

We have not confirmed the start line coordinates yet. The map shows the host city.
The start and finish are located near Kanari Square on Gregoriou Lampraki Avenue in Piraeus, with the 10 km starting at 9:00 AM.
The same day also features 5 km, family, and children’s races, held against the backdrop of the port city of Piraeus.
Run Greece is part of a series held each year in cities across Greece.

This may change for the next edition.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
Run Greece series standard rules — an email with the bib number and collection instructions is sent three days before the race, and all participants must collect their bib in person at the registration centre.
The registration centre location for the Piraeus race will be announced closer to race day.
Note: the Piraeus Port Run held in March is a separate race.
Piraeus Metro/ISAP terminus (Athens Metro Line 1) and Piraeus Tram (T7)
Start/finish on Gregoriou Lampraki Avenue at Kanari Square, central Piraeus (7th and final stop of the 2026 Run Greece series, Oct 4).
Roughly 1-1.5 km from the Piraeus Metro/ISAP Line 1 terminal.
Distances: 10km, 5km run/walk, and a family run.
Same location as start — Gregoriou Lampraki Avenue / Kanari Square, Piraeus.
Out-and-back city course finishing at the same Kanari Square area.
No dedicated race shuttle found — none needed given central, metro-accessible location.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
Registration is available through the official website, with a separate walking category offered alongside the running events.
The minimum age is 12.
Piraeus is the terminus of Athens Metro Line 1, making it easy to reach from central Athens.
The Athens area generally has a relatively mild Mediterranean climate in October.
