Since December 1, 2025, all Metrô SP stations accept contactless payment (Visa, Mastercard, Elo) directly at the turnstile —
but physical cards only (no Apple/Google/Samsung Pay yet during this pilot), and each card can only be tapped again after a 30-minute cooldown.
There is no fare integration with buses when paying by contactless.
