The race takes place in Shaoshan City, Xiangtan, Hunan Province, and the finish is located within the Shaoshan Scenic Area.

韶山南站 (Shaoshan South high-speed rail station) — general reference only
Race held in Shaoshan City, Xiangtan, Hunan (Mao Zedong's hometown).
Runners typically arrive via Shaoshan South high-speed rail station, or via Changsha Huanghua Airport then rail/bus to Shaoshan.

inside the scenic zone visitors/runners must transfer to local eco-shuttle buses to move between the station area and central scenic sites.

The typical way to reach Shaoshan is by taking the high-speed rail to Shaoshan South Station,
or by transferring from Changsha Huanghua Airport via rail and bus.
Within the scenic area, travel between the station and the main tourist sites requires transferring to a local eco-friendly shuttle bus;
this is a regularly operating tourist shuttle, not a dedicated race shuttle.
