Getting to the start

Tejon Ranch Equestrian Center, 1401 Crane Canyon Road, Lebec, CA — off I-5, about 1 hour north of Los Angeles, 30 minutes from Bakersfield.

No public transit; access via I-5. Entire course runs on private ranch fire roads with no public access except on race day. Parking opens 4:15am, check-in from 4:30am.

All distances (100k, 50k, 25k, 11k) finish at the main event venue with post-race meal and beer garden.

Start shuttle

Yes — official shuttle service is provided to/from the one aid station accessible to crew and spectators, since the rest of the course is closed to crew/spectator vehicle access.

Transit card

No transit card system exists near Tejon Ranch in Lebec, California; this is a remote mountain venue between Los Angeles and Bakersfield off I-5, with no public transit whatsoever. A rental car is essential for race access.

SoCalUltraTrail at Tejon Ranch accepts online registration through UltraSignup,

with multiple distances from 11K to 100K, allowing runners to choose an event suited to their fitness level.

The cancellation and refund policy is relatively detailed.

Entry fee is generally nonrefundable, but cancellations made at least 60 days before the race receive 75%,

cancellations made at least 30 days before receive 50%, and cancellations made at least 14 days before receive 25% as credit with the organizer.

The credit is valid for one year from the date of issue.

Registration can be transferred to another person until the day before the race.

Course passes through Tejon Ranch and is described as featuring centuries-old oak groves,

California poppies and wildflowers in spring, and views extending as far as Joshua Tree.

It is considered a race that offers the pleasure of taking in desert and highland ecosystems alongside the challenge of finishing.
