Castro Valley BART station, then AC Transit Line 28 or 40 toward Lake Chabot Rd & Castro Valley Blvd, followed by a short walk to the park entrance/marina

Start/finish is at Lake Chabot Regional Park - Marina, 17600 Lake Chabot Road, Castro Valley, CA.

On-site parking is $5/vehicle (exact change requested).

Reachable by BART + AC Transit bus with a short walk, though not a direct-to-gate route.

Check-in opens 7:30 AM;

arrive 45 minutes before your start time (8:20-8:45 AM range).

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

This is a multi-distance trail event featuring an 8K, half marathon, 30K, marathon, 50K, and a free kids’ run in one venue.

Early entry fees start at approximately $50–$65 depending on the distance and rise to as much as $96 close to the deadline.

Published base prices have been around $60 for the half marathon, $70 for the marathon, and $80 for the 50K.

The half marathon, 30K, marathon, and 50K start at 8:30 a.m.,

while the 8K starts at 8:45 a.m. Cutoffs are 7 hours 30 minutes for the marathon and 8 hours 30 minutes for the 50K.

Aid stations are placed every 4–5 miles and stock fresh fruit, salty snacks, candy, water,

and Skratch electrolyte drink, so runners can supplement their own hydration and nutrition.
