This full- and half marathon marathon starts and finishes at Taizhou Sports Park in Jiangsu.

At course locations, local opera performances are combined with experiences of zaocha, the city’s traditional morning-tea refreshments.

Along the flat tree-lined course, 3,000 full-marathon runners and half marathon 12,000 runners take part in a marathon worthy of the “city of morning tea.”

Course starts at the west gate of Taizhou Sports Park, passes through Hailing District and the Pharmaceutical High-Tech Zone,

connects major landmarks in the city center, and returns to the sports park stadium to finish.

The entire course follows wide roads and tree-lined boulevards, and is described as a flat course with minimal elevation change.

It is divided into full marathon with 3,000 runners and half marathon with 12,000 runners.

Grade: CAA Grade B

Getting to the start

泰州体育公园西门 (West Gate, Taizhou Sports Park), near Huaihe East Rd & Hailing South Rd, Gaogang District, Taizhou

Taizhou has no subway. From Taizhou Railway Station, local transit routes include bus K3 to 市住建局 stop then transfer to bus 18, or bus 88 direct to 体育公园站.

Total transit time from the rail station roughly 40-50 minutes including transfers.
