THE DREAM
This is the 11th edition of the event, held in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
The categories are 25K, 50K, and 10K.
It's held in Georgia's largest state park, and while the spring scenery is beautiful, course is no easy course.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“So I walked. And I hiked.”At the Big 50, repeated kicks against rocks left the runner with sore toes and heels late in the race. To avoid overdoing it before the next 50-mile race, the runner walked more and finished in 9 hours and 6 minutes.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
Preview the course and read what runners who went before you wrote.
