Limited to 90 minutes due to road closures

Jarrow 10K starts and finishes at the Monkton Stadium athletics track.

The fully closed-road, two-lap course follows a gentle, flat route.

After leaving the track, runners follow broad asphalt roads before returning to the stadium and passing through finish.

As part of the Top Flight Race Series, it attracts elite British athletes, local club runners and beginners.

All finishers receive finisher medal, with awards presented in each category.

Getting to the start

Tyne and Wear Metro – Fellgate or Jarrow station

Venue is Monkton Stadium, Jarrow. Both Fellgate (~10 min walk) and Jarrow (~15 min walk) Metro stations are close to the course.

No runner parking at Monkton Stadium itself. A large car park is available at Jarrow Viking Centre (Metro/bus interchange), ~15-min walk.
