Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
Free shuttles run from the west Machinami Exit of Tsuruga Station and Plaza Bansho to the event venue.
At the station, board in the bus stop area to the southwest;
on the return journey, you will be dropped off in the area to the northeast.
The pickup and drop-off point at Plaza Bansho is inside the building’s car park.
Accompanying people may also use the shuttle, but pets are not permitted on board.
The shuttle arrives at the second car park of the General Sports Park.
You must cross the road to reach the stadium from there, so follow the designated route.
The official information warns that traffic controls and congestion may delay your arrival and recommends allowing plenty of time to reach the venue before the start.
After finishing, take the shuttle from the same venue back to Tsuruga Station and Plaza Bansho.
When choosing where to stay, checking the actual route to the station’s west exit or Plaza Bansho will make it easier to plan your shuttle journey.
Check the shuttle timetable for your event, as the start times for half marathon and the shorter-distance event are different.
Times are local to Tsuruga. Check the latest official information before the race.
