The KSRTC Smart Travel Card costs ₹100, uses RFID tap-to-pay on the conductor's ETM, but is aimed at regular/local riders rather than tourists.
KSRTC has also partnered with the 'Chalo' app for live bus tracking and digital ticketing on select buses/depots.
Auto-rickshaws are metered by regulation but drivers may still expect negotiation.
