The 2013 winning times were 1:20:13 for Benjamin Tuffin in the men's race and 1:36:53 for Mieke Dupont in the women's race.

This is a half marathon where the start and finish are both at a single point,

Kastanjedreef ("Grasplein"), in Linkeroever on the west bank of the Scheldt River in Antwerp.

Bib can be picked up at the WALLS Real Estate office in Linkeroever from Tuesday through Friday of race week.
Whether race-day pickup is available and which documents are required have not been confirmed in the official information.

Getting to the start

De Lijn tram/premetro stop 'Van Eeden' + Sint-Annatunnel pedestrian/bike tunnel

Start/finish is a single point at Kastanjedreef ('Grasplein'), Linkeroever, Antwerp.

From city centre: tram lines 3/5/9/15 (or premetro) to 'Van Eeden',

then cross under the Scheldt via the free Sint-Annatunnel pedestrian/bike tunnel (~5 min walk) onto Linkeroever, then a few minutes to Kastanjedreef.

A passenger ferry across the Scheldt is also available nearby.

De Lijn bus line 36 and shuttle bus P5 also connect via the Frederik van Eedenplein hub on Linkeroever.

Hold your contactless bank card, phone, or wearable within about 4cm of the white terminal by the door.

Transferring to another De Lijn bus/tram within 60 minutes using the same card/device avoids a second charge.

De Lijn is Flanders' bus/tram operator — Belgium's national trains (NMBS) are a completely separate ticketing system.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.

The course is an officially measured 21.0975 km route through the green areas of Linkeroever on the west bank of the Scheldt.

It is generally flat and fast, with views of the Antwerp skyline over most of the course.

Four aid stations are located at approximately 4–5 km, 9–10 km, just before 14 km, and just before 16 km, with another at the finish.

They provide water, sports drinks, energy gels, jelly sweets, and bananas.

Bibs can be collected in advance from September 15 to 18, three to six days before the race, at the WALLS real-estate office.

Same-day pickup is available from 8:30 a.m. at Boeienweide, the start area.

The race starts at 10:00 a.m. and has a 3-hour time limit, finishing at 1:00 p.m.

Finishers receive a medal and finish-line refreshments, and luggage storage is available.

There are no showers at the venue.
