The race starts at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 18, in Xinghua, Taizhou, in Jiangsu Province.

It starts at Lianxi Lake Park and finishes at the Qianduo Scenic Area visitor center.

The field is 10,000: 3,000 for the full marathon and 7,000 for the half marathon.

If entries exceed the cap, spots are awarded by lottery, and unsuccessful applicants get a full refund of the Entry fee.

The start is at Lixihu Park, while finish for both full marathon and half marathon is located at the Qianduo Scenic Area Visitor Center.

In the early part of the course, you pass Zhaoyanghu Park, Bazi Bridge,

Jindongmen Old Street and Zhuangyuanfang, taking in Xinghua's historic urban area and everyday culture.

You then run through the rural Duotian fields, cross Xiaguanhe Bridge and finish amid Qianduo's autumn scenery along the waterways.

The character of this course lies in the shift from urban scenery to agricultural cultural landscapes.

The area associated with the inspiration for Water Margin, as well as the Lixiahe water-town region, also forms part of the event's identity.

The full marathon has 3000 places, the half marathon has 7000 places, and the Entry fee are 120 yuan and 100 yuan, respectively.

The Qianduo Scenic Area is presented as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System site, so you can combine your race plans with local sightseeing.

There is no widely available dedicated IC card for short-term foreign visitors, so taxis or Didi ride-hailing are the more practical option for getting to the race venue.

READY TO RUN

The event starts at 7:30 am on 18 October.

October in Xinghua is clear and cool, and is a good time to visit the Qianduo Scenic Area.

Dress in layers suited to autumn temperatures before the start,

and consider that the race passes through both urban sections and rural Duotian areas when choosing your race clothing.

You can also add a visit to the Qianduo Scenic Area, the finish area, after the race.

You can travel via Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport or Nanjing Lukou International Airport,

or take a high-speed train to Taizhou Station and then continue by intercity bus.

Registration is available through the official website, official WeChat account, Digital Xindong, Paopaowang and other official partner channels.

Choose your distance between full marathon and half marathon first,

then plan your transport around the fact that the start and finish are in different locations.
