The race starts at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 30, at the Daming Palace National Heritage Park in Xi'an.

The events are a 10km fitness run and an approximately 4.4km family run (one adult and one child).

Registration is first-come, first-served and closes once capacity is reached.

Daming Palace National Heritage Park Yudao Square

The 10km fitness run course starts at Danfeng Gate, the main gate of Daming Palace National Heritage Park,

passes through major heritage sites within the park including the Hanyao Gate and Chongming Gate ruins,

the area around Taiye Lake, and Sanqing Hall Plaza, then loops back to Danfeng Gate, forming a loop course.

The 4km course also starts at the same Danfeng Gate and consists of a shorter loop passing the Hanyao Gate and Chongming Gate ruins and the northern section of Taiye Lake.

Both course follow internal park roads and walking paths built on the site of the former Tang Dynasty imperial palace.

Getting to the start

Xi'an Metro Line 2 — Daming Palace West Station (大明宫西站); or Line 4 — Daming Palace Station (大明宫站) / Hanyuandian Station (含元殿站)

Venue is Yudao Square (御道广场) inside Daming Palace National Heritage Park, Xincheng District, Xi'an, just north of the Danfeng Gate entrance. Nearest metro is Line 2 Daming Palace West Station, roughly a 10-minute walk.
