The route begins at Budiman Walk, beside Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas, and stays close to sea level for its full distance.

From there runners move through Bandar Seri Begawan on a course organizers describe as mostly flat,

passing the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque and the city's waterfront before returning toward the stadium.

The half marathon (21.0975 km) is held alongside a 10 km event on the same morning.

Organizers describe the course as Brunei's first World Athletics-certified road course,

run under full AIMS membership, and the country's only World Athletics Road Race Label event.

You must bring a copy of your ID and the Confirmation of Registration.
If you cannot collect it in person, collection by a representative is permitted.
Collection is not allowed on race day or after the race, and unclaimed packs will be donated.

Race starts 6:00 AM. Berakas is a stadium/sports complex a few km from central BSB; no metro/rail exists in Brunei, so foreign runners should plan a pre-arranged taxi, hotel shuttle, or rideshare to the stadium well before 6 AM, as public bus services do not run that early.

Brunei's public ('purple') buses are cash-only with no tap card, contactless bank card, or app-based fare system. Fixed fare is BND 1 per ride regardless of distance (children/seniors BND 0.50); pay the driver directly.

A QR-based mobile wallet called DSTPay exists for general retail payments in Brunei but is not a transit fare system. Bring exact/small change; taxis are also cash-based and relatively rare/expensive.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

Start is set for 6:00 am at Budiman Walk, ahead of the day's heat.

December falls within Brunei's wetter stretch of the year: the northeast monsoon brings the heaviest rainfall of the calendar,

with average daytime highs near 33.5°C, overnight lows around 22.5°C, and high humidity throughout.

The half marathon carries a four-hour cutoff.

Race kits are not distributed on race morning.

Pickup for the 2026 edition is set for the Friday afternoon into evening and the Saturday from morning into evening beforehand,

at the Mawar meeting room, Level 2, Mulia Hotel.

Medical staff are positioned along the course with authority to withdraw runners who show signs of distress, according to the official race terms.
