The 50km and 24km races start at 6:40 AM from Shatin Town Hall Square, while the 6km race starts at 8:00 AM from Wong Nai Chung Gap.

All finish are at Wong Nai Chung Gap.

The 50km category (actual distance 52.4km) starts at The Peak and crosses Hong Kong Island’s trails before finishing at Wong Nai Chung Gap.

It passes the Fei Ngo Shan Catchwater, Wong Nai Chung Gap, Mount Parker Road/West Corridor/Hung Fook,

Tai Fung Au, and Parkview checkpoints, as well as Cecil’s Ride,

Mount Butler Road, The Quarry, Braemar Hill, Mount Parker Road, the Hung Fook Country Trail,

Conduit Hill, Boa Vista Trail, Mount Butler, Jardine’s Lookout, and Violet Hill.

Total elevation gain is at least 1,369 metres.

The 24km category (actual distance 24.6km) starts directly from The Peak, includes the Mount Bennett Loop,

and finishes at Wong Nai Chung Gap, with at least 509 metres of elevation gain.

The 6km category (actual distance 6.5km) starts and finishes at Wong Nai Chung Gap, passing Violet Hill,

the Wilson Trail, and the catchwater section of the Zoroastrian Mountain Trail, with at least 292 metres of elevation gain.

Getting to the start

Peak Tram (Garden Road Lower Terminus, via bus 15C from Central Star Ferry Pier) for the 50km/24km start at The Peak

50km & 24km start 6:40am at The Peak, Hong Kong Island. Reach via Peak Tram or bus.

The 6km category starts 8:00am at Wong Nai Chung Gap Children's Playground, reachable directly by bus from Central/Causeway Bay/Admiralty. Date confirmed Saturday Oct 17, 2026. Start (Peak) and finish differ — plan one-way travel via taxi/bus.

Getting to the finish

Wong Nai Chung Gap (served by bus from Central/Admiralty/Causeway Bay)

50km & 24km finish at Wong Nai Chung Gap; organizer transfers luggage from the Peak start to the finish. 6km both starts and finishes at Wong Nai Chung Gap.

No dedicated race shuttle confirmed; recommend basing near normal bus departure points (Admiralty, Prince Edward, Shatin).

The official website advises that “October is a hot period,

so you should train sufficiently in advance.” Race-pack collection is available from October 12 to 16, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, at the Action X store in Sheung Wan.

Participants from Macau, mainland China, and overseas can avoid the race-day collection fee (HK$150) by bringing identification.
