The runner began the Chombueng Marathon 10km patiently, then caught others one by one. The 1-hour barrier remained out of reach, but a faster second half created good memories.

After passing turnaround point, they alternated between running and walking to finish and avoid injury, completing the race in 5 hours 36 minutes.
