Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I was really upset about the early removal of the course markings, but there was a lot of positives about the race.”At the College Station Marathon, they ran through hamstring pain, then took a wrong turn around mile 18 when course markers disappeared. They backtracked behind an earlier runner to rejoin finish and finished in 6 hours 24 minutes 55 seconds, praising the friendly volunteers and aid stations.
“There was a slight downhill to the finish line, and I gave it all I had left.”At the College Station Marathon, an overly fast start made the midrace hills and hamstring pain difficult. They rallied late to finish in 3 hours 26 minutes 10 seconds, sixth among women and second in the 35–39 age group.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
