From the 2026 editionWe have not confirmed the start line coordinates yet.
This year's course has been moved into the World Expo Culture Park itself, rather than along the Huangpu riverside as in previous years.
It makes full use of the park's forest and hill terrain, alternating between sections with gentle ups and downs and sections that loop along lakes and streams.
Organizers describe the course theme with two phrases: '览山' (viewing the mountain) and '跃水' (crossing the water).
With a mix of urban forest paths and waterside loops, it has more undulation than the previous straight riverside course.
