The road to your own record
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.
THE DREAM
Course is divided into two loop sections.
The 5-mile event covers one short loop, while the other events cover the half marathon loop.
Full marathon covers the half marathon loop twice, and the 50K covers the half marathon loop twice plus one lap of the 5-mile loop.
The half marathon loop is closer to 14 miles than 13.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I cross the finish line – yess! I’m done!”At Grand Ridge half marathon, the runner crossed rain-swollen creeks and passed several people on the descents. A fall at the turnaround point and alternating running with walking on the return climbs didn't prevent a first trail half marathon finish and 9th place among 36 in their age-and-gender category.
“No matter how much I prepare I haven’t been able to run up the two main hills non-stop without a walk break.”In the Grand Ridge 5-mile race, the runner walked steep climbs with Jason and sped up downhill. They faded over the final half-mile but finished in 58 minutes 32 seconds.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
