Yangpu Coastal Cultural Plaza (main venue)
The official transportation shuttle plan for the 2025 Danzhou Marathon (December) clearly identified the main venue/start-finish area as “Yangpu Coastal Cultural Plaza,” rather than “North of Danzhou Cultural Plaza,” which appeared in documents from earlier years.
In recent years,
the race venue has moved to the Coastal Cultural Plaza in the Yangpu Economic Development Zone (per the 2025 transportation shuttle plan on the official danma.cn website and media reprints;
the 2026 edition has not yet been released, so this is 2025 official data provided as a reference for continuity).
The 2026 Danzhou Marathon website still embeds its content as images, and its SSL certificate does not match the actual domain.
Detailed 2026 information has not yet been published,
so it is not possible to directly verify whether Yangpu Coastal Cultural Plaza will remain the start-finish venue in 2026.

Getting to the finish
Yangpu Coastal Cultural Plaza (main venue)
As at the start, post-race shuttle buses depart from the main venue for Baimaijing Station,
Ocean Flower Island and Danzhou Cultural Plaza, among other destinations (per the 2025 official transportation shuttle plan on danma.cn).

Official 2025 shuttle routes (for reference;
the 2026 plan has not been released): ① Pre-race race-pack collection shuttle: Baimaijing Station (beside the tourist information point) ↔ main venue (Yangpu Coastal Cultural Plaza);
② Pre-race: main venue ↔ Baimaijing ↔ Ocean Flower Island 2 ↔ Ocean Flower Island O'堡 Hotel;
③ Race day: Ocean Flower Island → Baimaijing → main venue (approximately 18 km/40 minutes);
④ Race day: Danzhou Cultural Plaza (bus stop) → main venue (approximately 55 km/1 hour, non-stop);
⑤ Post-race: main venue → Baimaijing Station (approximately 15 km/35 minutes);
⑥ Post-race: main venue → Baimaijing → Ocean Flower Island (approximately 18 km/40 minutes);
⑦ Post-race: main venue → Danzhou Cultural Plaza (approximately 55 km/1 hour).
Runners may ride free of charge with bib.
Stations & transport near the venue
Danzhou (Hainan) has no metro system;
like other Hainan cities,
local buses commonly support Alipay electronic transit card QR scanning or WeChat mini-program payment rather than a physical card purchasable by short-term tourists.
Taxis or Didi ride-hailing are generally the more practical option for foreign visitors getting to the race venue.
