Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I passed through the finish while high-fiving my son.”
The long climb and strong sun on the Imabari Satoyama 10K left Satsuki exhausted, but she finished without walking. She missed her one-hour goal, but drew strength from her family and the other guests cheering her on.

Read the original on note“The course through the mountains toward Onishi and back had plenty of ups and downs, so I found it quite tough.”
Dressed as Snufkin, this runner made a first appearance at the Imabari Satoyama Marathon, running the course from Satoyama Stadium out through the mountains and back. The many climbs and descents made it tough, but the runner finished in about 2 hours 37 minutes.

The Imabari Satoyama Marathon is a race that runs through the green spaces and roads around the village in Imabari, Ehime Prefecture.
Starting in front of ASICS Satoyama Stadium, home of soccer team FC Imabari, and returning to the same place,
the official course introduction explains the undulating green road as the backdrop for the competition.
Rather than running only long-distance events, we also organize short events such as half marathon and 10km, run by students and general participants.
The organizer includes the support of local residents and the participation of volunteers in the official introduction.
The structure in which Imabari City, the Board of Education, the Sports Association,
the Athletics Association, and local newspapers jointly host the event also shows the nature of a civic event.
At the commemorative event, we are running the Kids Decathlon Challenge, a children's sports experience.
This is a program that you can participate in with family or friends while experiencing short runs, throws, and jumps.
Even children who do not participate in long-distance races have the opportunity to experience sports.
Japanese female long-distance runners who have experience in the Olympics and world competitions will also participate as guests and supporters.
The organizers introduce the plant-derived fibers of participating T-shirts and the recovery and composting system after use as part of sustainable event management.
We continue Imabari's running culture by combining racing, children's experiences, regional cooperation, and environmental activities in one event.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
Details on registration and athlete bibs could not be confirmed in the publicly available information.
Since advance mailing or same-day collection is common for races in Japan, check the event guide (participant notification).
