Indore Marathon's December race is officially called The Zero Elevation Full Marathon.
It isn't held in Indore itself but about 50 km away at NATRAX, the national automotive test track in Pithampur,
Dhar district, and the only distance is the 42.195 km full marathon.
The start is at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2026.
The venue is Asia's longest high-speed test track (11.3 km long), a flat oval built with a 0 percent longitudinal gradient for vehicle testing.
Runners start on the south straight near the parking lot, run three counterclockwise laps of 11.216 km,
and finish the fourth lap on the west curve after 8.547 km.
The course was measured and certified by AIMS together with World Athletics, so times run here are recognized internationally.
At an earlier race on the same track on January 31, 2026, 336 runners made the results, and the open men's winner ran 2:57:43.
The organizer is the Academy of Indore Marathoners (AIM), active since 2014.
This is a separate event from the group's city race in early February at Nehru Stadium (half marathon, 10K, and more), with a different venue and distances.
The December race is open only to runners 18 and older.
The entry fee is 1,000 rupees, which covers a race T-shirt, a bib with a timing chip, a finisher medal, a digital finisher certificate, and snacks.
