RACE WEEK
Know the course and time limit, and race day comes into focus.

The course passes through central Jönköping, around three lakes and through three nature reserves.
Throughout the race, runners enjoy views of Lake Vättern, Scandinavia’s largest lake, as well as Jönköping and Huskvarna.
Both the start and finish lines are located on Munksjöbron in the city center.

Marathon and Half Marathon start at Munksjöbron (Munksjö Bridge) in central Jönköping, heading toward the courthouse. Central, walkable location in downtown Jönköping.

Jonkoping's regional transit is run by Jonkopings Lanstrafik (JLT); tickets are bought via the JLT app or at station machines, and contactless bank-card tap payment is increasingly accepted on local buses. There is no separate foreign-visitor card; the JLT app is the most practical option for short stays.

The race starts at 10:00, with a 6-hour time limit. The minimum age is 17.
There are 13 aid stations along the course, offering water, sports drink, pickles and bananas.
During the build-up to race day, two course training sessions and coaching sessions during race week are also held.
