THE DREAM
This is a course that goes out and back through the nature of Kameoka City in Kyoto Prefecture.
Once the initial climb is over, flat and downhill sections follow, making it known for producing good times.
After the race, participants can use the same-day hot springs, and free shuttle buses run from the station and parking lot.
This year, no certified category will be held.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“My total time was 1 hour 50 minutes 26 seconds, and I finished chip time in 1 hour 50 minutes 16 seconds.”
The runner entered because it was an Athletics Federation-certified race. The uphill section for the first 5.6 km was tough, but they were able to pick up the pace on the downhill section after 15 km. They were also satisfied to receive a finisher towel after the finish.

Read the original on 最後まで諦めない“On the downhill section after 15 km, I was able to overtake the runners around me in good spirits.”
This is a race the runner enters every year. They made sure to drink at the aid stations while keeping the early uphill section and the demanding point at 19 km in mind. They made it safely through the downhill section after 15 km and the cheering drums. Although they finished in over 2 hours, it was an enjoyable day.

Read the original on ひとっ走り“My pace dropped on the steep section between 2 and 6km, which had an elevation difference of 80m. I struggled against the headwind but finished in 1 hour 22 minutes 12 seconds.”
The runner started at Kameoka Sports Park and hit steep climbs and headwinds between 2K and 6K. The downhill stretch from 15K to 19K and the crowd support through downtown helped them recover, and they finished in 1:22:12.
