No runner shuttle -- CARRIS alters ~20 bus lines for the event (several routes truncated or split around the closed core, with a special mini-bus 28E as a partial substitute); the Metro is unaffected and is the most reliable way in/out.

Alternative: 24-hour unlimited travel pass (loaded on the Viva Viagem/Navegante card) €7.25 for metro + bus + tram; €11.00 for the version that also covers Sintra/Cascais suburban trains — Worth it only if you're making around 5 or more trips in a single day, since single pay-as-you-go rides are roughly €1.50-1.92 each. The Viva Viagem/Navegante card itself costs €0.50 and is valid for a year; you then load cash or a time-based pass onto it.
Lisbon's official metro site confirms contactless bank cards (VISA, VPAY, Electron, Mastercard) and linked Apple Pay/Google Pay work at validators across all stations — but you must tap the same card to exit that you used to enter, and it charges per-journey rather than capping automatically. Sources gave slightly different per-ride contactless prices (€1.50 vs €1.92), so treat the exact per-trip figure as approximate.
