near the Danga Cultural Tourism Area

The start point is at the sports stadium within Lingshui Lian International Education Innovation Demonstration Zone,

while the finish is at the west shore of the Shihu Lake near Danjia Cultural Tourism Zone in Xinchun Town.

Course departs via Boxue Avenue (博学大道, south direction), passes through Jingye Road,

Mingde Avenue, Qiushi Road, returns via Boxue Avenue (north direction),

then follows Shuanghu Avenue (双湖大道, north direction) into Hainan Circular Island Travel Highway (环岛高速),

with a turn near the Seafood Museum before heading to the finish.

Distinctive features include passing through Red Mangrove Forest National Wetland Park famous for red mangroves,

passing by Tonghai Port with its fishing village culture,

and running alongside Danjia fishing raft villages with some 400 traditional stilt houses—course connecting wetlands and coastal villages.

Getting to the start

Lingshui has no airport or metro. Foreign runners typically fly into Sanya Phoenix or Haikou Meilan Airport, then take the island-loop high-speed rail to Lingshui Station.

Per the most recent detailed edition found (2025), the start venue was Li'an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone Stadium; a 2024 edition instead started at Yalong Bay Qingshuiwan. The official page confirms the race date as 2026-11-29, so there is no date conflict, but the venue-specific details are from a prior (2025) edition.

Getting to the finish

The organizer provides sweep vehicles only for runners who withdraw mid-race, not a general public shuttle.

Road closures

No airport nearby. Take Sanya Phoenix Airport or Haikou Meilan Airport and take the Hainan Ring Road Railway to Lingshui Station.

Lingshui has no airport, requiring entry through Sanya Phoenix Airport or Haikou Meilan Airport,

then taking the Hainan Circular Island high-speed rail to Lingshui Station.

No subway system is in place.

Hosted by the Hainan Athletics Association, this is a Grade C certified race.

The race has traditionally been held in March annually (most recently on March 9, 2025), but the 2026 edition has been rescheduled to November 29.

Specific operational details for the 2026 edition such as capacity, registration dates,

finish time limit, and bib pickup locations have not been officially announced.

For reference, Lingshui in southern Hainan has warm maritime climate with daytime highs around 28°C and morning lows around 23-24°C even in late November,

so summer-like clothing may be necessary despite the late-autumn race timing.
