Zhuhai Half Marathon

The road used by the course is called Qinglv Road, meaning “Lovers’ Road” in English.

This single road essentially defines the character of the Zhuhai Half Marathon.

The 2026 race will take place on December 6, with a full marathon, half marathon, and fun run held together.

After leaving the city centre, the course heads south along this coastal road, one of Zhuhai’s defining landmarks.

After passing through the Lingjiaozui Tunnel, runners make two turnaround loops before reaching the finish on Qinglv South Road.

The sea remains open on one side throughout the run, and the terrain is gently rolling.

The event’s strength also lies in the way its scenery unfolds along the course.

The Zhuhai Grand Theatre,

better known by its nickname “Sun and Moon Shell,” and the Zhuhai Fisher Girl statue come into view as runners make their way along the route.

The entry fee is 188 yuan for the full marathon and 168 yuan for the half marathon.

As this is a seaside course in early December, temperatures can vary considerably between morning and evening,

and sea winds are possible, so it is worth planning in advance how to manage your outer layer before the start.

The more difficult part is not the running but collecting the race materials.

For the 2025 edition, collection was available from 14:00 to 18:00 on Friday, the day before the race, and from 10:00 to 20:00 on Saturday.

Race-day collection was not listed.

To collect the materials, runners must present the original ID document in person and print the collection receipt.

Foreign participants need a passport or travel permit.

Proxy collection is not allowed, and both the wristband and BIB provided at collection must be worn to enter the start area.

It is therefore safer to allow an extra day in your itinerary.
