The city you want to run becomes your next trip.

THE DREAM
The New Orleans Marathon returns after a 7-year hiatus.
It runs through the city's downtown streets.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I finished. My fastest marathon of the year so far, 4 hrs 19 minutes.”Amanda (tootallfritz) finished the 2016 Rock 'n' Roll New Orleans Marathon in 4:19. She ran the flat, shaded course through the French Quarter, the Garden District, and along the lakeside levee, and said she enjoyed the race while managing the heat and some hamstring pain.
“I finished in 3:45, beating my personal best by almost 10 minutes.”Daniel started quickly at the New Orleans Rock 'n' Roll Marathon, maintained Daniel's rhythm until about mile 20, and held on through the final 6 miles. Daniel finished in 3 hours 45 minutes, improving Daniel's personal best by nearly 10 minutes, and wrote that Daniel was overwhelmed with emotion at the finish.
“Overall the NOLA course is pancake flat.”Timothy Agee finished in 3 hours 12 minutes 28 seconds and said that course was good for running because it was almost completely flat. He also described the short bridge climb in the lake section, the support in the final section, and the organization of aid station and the volunteers in detail.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
