Register online at RunJordan.com, the official site of the Jordan Marathon Association.

Offline registration is also possible at Amman and Aqaba local offices.

Stations & transport near the venue

Carry cash in Jordanian dinars (JOD) and always agree the fare with the taxi driver before getting in, since the Aqaba/Red Sea coastal region has no formal public transit fare system.

Getting to the start

No train/metro in Aqaba.

Per prior (17th) edition pattern: 21km starts at the InterContinental Hotel (hotel/tourist strip);

10km and 4.2km start from Ayla (Ayla Oasis development).

From King Hussein International Airport, ~10-15min taxi to the hotel strip.

Confirm exact 2026 start point closer to race day.

Getting to the finish

Thawra Plaza / Revolution Square (Sahet Al Thawra) in central Aqaba, walkable from most downtown hotels.

Aqaba is compact enough most participants walk or taxi.

This coastal region has no metro, tram, or citywide bus fare card —

taxis (unmetered, negotiated price) and shared minibuses are the main way to get around, cash-only in practice.

City-centre taxi trips run roughly JOD 2, short out-of-town/beach trips roughly JOD 5.

Careem operates in Jordan but doesn't reliably work in this area (more consistent in Amman) — verify on the ground.
