This is the “Road to the Founding of Taiwan” Marathon in Xinying, Tainan.

It features 42.195K, 21K, and 5K distances and runs through northern Tainan, a region central to Taiwan’s early history.

With a low Entry fee burden, it is a popular local race whose registration fills early.

From Xinying Station walk to the Xinying bus terminal, then take Greater Tainan bus route Brown2, Brown3 or Brown3-1 to the stadium stop. If arriving by HSR, take bus Yellow9 from Chiayi HSR station to Xinying Station first, then transfer

IC card

From TRA Xinying Station walk to the nearby bus terminal and take Greater Tainan bus Brown2, Brown3, or Brown3-1 directly to the Xinying Sports Stadium stop. If coming by high-speed rail, transfer via bus Yellow9 from Chiayi HSR station to Xinying Station first.

Taiwan's EasyCard or iPass can be bought/reloaded at any convenience store and used on most buses.

From TRA Xinying Station, walk to the nearby bus terminal and take Tainan city bus Brown 2, Brown 3, or Brown 3-1 directly to the Xinying Sports Stadium stop.

If arriving by high-speed rail, first take Yellow 9 from Chiayi HSR Station to Xinying Station, then transfer.

Entry fee costs 1,300 TWD for full marathon, 1,100 TWD for half marathon, and 600 TWD for the 5K.

Registration closed on August 2, 2026.

EasyCard or iPASS cards can be purchased and topped up at convenience stores and used on most buses.
