The road to your own record

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.
THE DREAM
Held Saturday, February 13, 2027.
With Rocky Raccoon participation surging, 50-mile and 50km events moved to the following weekend.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“Eventually we figured it out and made it to the finish line in 13 hours and 25 minutes.”Trex and Bernie tackled their first 50-mile race at the 2019 Rocky Raccoon 50, alternating running and walking. Mud and frequent late stops added time, and they briefly went the wrong way in the dark, but finished together in 13 hours, 25 minutes.
“I was out of my element, so I
viewed this race as a learning experience.”David entered the 2015 Rocky 50 without trail training, tackling 50 miles but repeatedly tripping on roots and developing leg pain. They accelerated again on the final section to finish in 9 hours, 44 minutes, 30 seconds, learning from a challenge outside familiar terrain.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
