“Even so, I eventually finished after alternating between walking and running!”

In the runner's third 10km race this year, they slowed down because of upper abdominal pain after 5km and completed the race by alternating between walking and running. Although the runner was disappointed with their time, they appreciated the smooth baggage storage and course guidance, as well as the sufficient refreshments.

“I finally reached finish.”

At the beginning of the 10km, the runner followed the 50-minute pacemaker and realized that training had been insufficient and the pace had been too fast. It was difficult from 3km onward, but the runner finished after passing through the shaded course and aid stations, and received congratulations from the family who came along.

“The cheering along the way helped us endure the difficult sections, and when my younger sibling and I passed finish side by side, our sense of accomplishment was doubled.”

The runner took on the 10km with their younger sibling and passed the finish line at the same moment. The cheering helped them endure the difficult sections, and after finishing, they felt a sense of accomplishment while eating their company running club's packed lunch at Pyeonghwa Square.
