Getting to the start

The starting point is Taeha Public Stadium (Ulleung-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, 40km course standard;

27km course is Ulleung-gun Public Stadium).

Ulleungdo is not accessible by land and can only be accessed by ferry between Pohang and Ulleungdo (Sadong Port).

Participation package includes round trip ferry ride.

The official site (osk.run) cannot be viewed directly due to a 403 error when accessing,

so it is based on web search results (OSK Outdoor Sports Korea product page snippets and media reports such as Aju Economic Daily).

Getting to the finish

Destination: Daeari Resort (Ulleung-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do).

40km course: Taeha Public Stadium → Hyeonpo Observatory → Gitdaebong → Nari Basin → Naesujeon Sunrise Observatory → Seonginbong → Daeari Resort.

Shuttle bus provided within the island on the day of the competition (included in package product).

Stations & transport near the venue

Ulleungdo is a remote island with no rail or subway;

access is only by ferry from Pohang, Mukho(Donghae), or Hupo, and race packages commonly bundle round-trip ferry tickets.

There's no T-money subway/bus network on the island itself — getting around is by shuttle bus, taxi, or rental scooter/car, paid in cash or card locally.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

Know them ahead and the run feels easier.

This is a midsummer race, so heat and humidity are major factors.

Even with an early start, do not skip aid stations, and avoid chasing an overly ambitious time.

The distance is short and not too demanding, but as long as you avoid going out too hard pace, finishing should be well within reach.

Ulleungdo is known for squid, wild greens, and mussel rice.

Nari Basin and a visit to Dokdo offer experiences found nowhere else.
