and also serves as a campaign donating bread (bakery items) to underprivileged children in the Daejeon area.

Drawn in by the medal, the runner took part in the 2025 Daejeon Bbangbbang Run 5K, Group B. The runner traveled by an early-morning KTX and taxi, and with help from their friends when they felt like walking in the heat and humidity, they managed to finish. HALF: Event venue (Daejeon Expo Citizen's Square) → Expo Bridge → Dunsan Bridge → Wonchon Bridge → Yongsingyo Bridge → Shingu Bridge → Near Daejeon Bongsan LH3 Complex Apartment (return) → Event venue (Daejeon Expo Citizen's Square)

The event is held on either Friday 9 October or Saturday 10 October, with participants choosing one day.

All course events take place at Daejeon Expo Citizen Plaza, and the half marathon starts at 7:30 am on both days.

Half marathon runners pass Expo Bridge and Dunsan Bridge, then Wonchon Bridge,

Yongsin Bridge and Singyo Bridge in that order before turning near Daejeon Bongsan LH3 Complex Apartments and returning to the event venue.

The time limit is 3 hours.

This running event celebrates Daejeon's bread culture, with bread from Sungsimdang,

Harehare, Mongsim, Jeomseonmyeon, Sㄱㅃ, Bemust and Samjeong Handmade Gangjeong.

The distances are half marathon, 10km and 5km.

Commemorative items made in collaboration with Dreamy,

including the BBangBBang Run 2026 event T-shirt and bandana, as well as the finisher medal, are also prepared.

A BBangBBang Look Awards event will be held for participants to express their love of bread and their individuality.

READY TO RUN

The events on 9 and 10 October run from 7:00 am to noon.

They will go ahead in rainy weather, but the schedule may change in strong winds or heavy rain.

If rain is forecast, wear clothing that is comfortable to move in when wet and bring a change of clothes.

The start is at Daejeon Expo Citizen Plaza, so choose your accommodation after checking the travel time to the venue.

Your bib with its timing chip, together with the official T-shirt, will be shipped in stages from 29 September.

You must bring your bib and timing chip on the event day;

they will not be reissued if lost.

The remaining commemorative items, including the finisher medal, can be collected at the on-site merchandise pickup area.

Changing rooms and free gear check are available from 7:00 am to noon, but valuables cannot be deposited.
