The What's the Matter Run 10K is a race on the irrigation road around Shing Mun Reservoir in Tsuen Wan,
Hong Kong, and it is run as an out-and-back over a flat 5km section along the reservoir to make up 10km.
Because the irrigation road is surrounded by forest, it is considered less exposed to wind, and the gently rolling,
low-variation surface makes it a suitable course for runners aiming for a PR as well as beginners taking on their first 10K.
The event is closer to a festival-style gathering with a Y2K and 8-bit retro concept than to the course itself.
A live DJ keeps the energy up on site, and photo zones are set up throughout, creating a carnival-like atmosphere.

HK$75) — Only worth it if you're packing in 5+ MTR-only rides in a single day, since it excludes Airport Express, Light Rail first class, and doesn't cover buses/trams/ferries the way Octopus does. Airport/MTR counters sell the Octopus card for HKD cash only, so have Hong Kong dollars ready.
