Documents & entry

Check your passport
Make sure it's still valid — you'll also need it as ID at bib pickup
Visa & entry permit
Check if your nationality needs a visa or travel authorization (ESTA etc.) and how long it takes

Check current entry requirements for your passport, trip dates, purpose and length of stay with the destination’s immigration authority or embassy. Visa exemptions do not cover every entry condition.

Race confirmation
Print or save it — you may be asked at immigration or bib pickup
Medical certificate & waiver
Required for some races (France, Italy…) — check the required documents in the race notice
Travel insurance
Cover injuries, delays and lost baggage

Race gear

Shoes & race kit
Keep them in your carry-on, never checked — you still race even if your bag is late
Energy gels & supplements
Mind cabin liquid rules — on-course brands may differ, bring what you trained with
Small but essential
Bib pins · watch charger · Vaseline · a throwaway layer for the start
