Morning temperatures can be quite low in October.
Bring an extra layer for the start area, and if you are racing in a short-sleeved top, use arm sleeves to retain body heat early on.
The distance is short and manageable, but avoid going out too fast in the opening pace and you should have no trouble finishing.
Wanju is a clean, scenic area surrounded by Daedunsan and Moaksan.
Samnye Culture and Arts Village is also worth a visit.
