THE DREAM
This race runs through the city centre of Kiel, the Baltic port city, and along the Förde waterfront.
Finish is located in the square in front of City Hall.
Alongside half marathon, 10.2km and 5.1km road races are held, making this a popular autumn race in northern Germany—popular enough to sell out.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“That didn’t bother me much. At that point, running with the group mattered more.”
At the Kiel Lauf half marathon, the runner valued running with the group more than a target time. Spectators’ encouragement helped carry the runner to a finish in 1 hour and 42 minutes.

Das war aber auch nicht so wild, das Laufen mit der Gruppe war mir dann wichtiger.
Read the original on IDAA Deutschland“This time I ran without special preparation or an overly ambitious goal.”
At the Kiel Lauf half marathon, the runner enjoyed the crowd support and samba bands. On the second lap, fading strength made running difficult.

Dieses Mal ohne spezifische Vorbereitung, ohne übermäßig ehrgeizige Ziele.
