The road to your own record

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.
THE DREAM
The course that used to start in front of Koshien Stadium has been changed to a course that runs out and back along the banks of the Mukogawa River.
Since it's flat, it's good for chasing a fast time, and full marathon 5-hour, 4-hour, and 3-hour pacer run together.
It's a good way to check your condition ahead of the main race season.

Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I used too much energy at the 10 km mark, and my pace gradually dropped.”
The runner took part in the half marathon in 2025, finished in 1 hour 27 minutes 57 seconds, and set a personal best. The runner was already exhausted from 10 km onward and had a cough and minor muscle damage after finishing, but wrote that they had become stronger than the previous year.

Read the original on note にょらい“Around 13 km, my opponent's pace dropped, so I moved ahead and led the race.”
The runner finished the 2025 half marathon in 1:13:49, placing 2nd. They said the dirt path and strong headwind took a heavy toll on their legs, and that it was such a tough course it measured 21.7K on GPS.

13km付近で相手のペースが落ちたため、前に出て引っ張る展開に。
Read the original on ランニングアカデミア“About 90% of the Muko Riverbank course was sandy soil and slippery, and I felt as if I were doing strength training every time I took a step.”
The runner ran the 2024 half marathon (21.0975K) in 1:27:13. Most of course was slippery, sandy ground, making it tough from 5K on, and a headwind slowed their pace past the halfway point, but they fought on to the finish.
