The road to your own record
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.

THE DREAM
The organizer describes the event not simply as a road race, but as a health platform where everyone moves together.
The idea is to view running not as a challenge of speed and distance, but as a habit that fits naturally into everyday life.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
No runner reports yet. We'll add them here as they come in.
Preview the course and read what runners who went before you wrote.

Presidential Office area, Ketagalan Boulevard, Taipei
Two venues listed: '總統府' (Presidential Office) and '大佳河濱公園 圓形廣場' (Dajia Riverside Park Circular Plaza), not explicitly labeled start vs finish — course timing (half marathon main wave 05:40-09:40) is consistent with a Presidential Office start and Dajia Riverside Park finish. Due to road closures typical for large Taipei races starting at the Presidential Office, foreign runners should approach via nearby MRT stations (e.g.
NTU Hospital, Taipei Main Station) and walk in from outside the closure perimeter.
Dajia Riverside Park Circular Plaza (大佳河濱公園 圓形廣場), reachable via MRT Yuanshan Station Exit 1
Official shuttle connects MRT Yuanshan Station (Exit 1) to Gate 8 of Dajia Riverside Park.
Official race shuttle bus runs between MRT Yuanshan Station (Exit 1) and Gate 8 of Dajia Riverside Park (Binjiang St./Dajia Elementary School stop) — outbound 07:00-08:00, return 08:00-10:30 (alternate return to Taipei University Hospital ~45-50min).
EasyCard (悠遊卡)
MRT station ticket machines and service counters, or convenience stores (7-Eleven, FamilyMart, Hi-Life, OK Mart) — ask at the cashier; many locations are open 24/7. Works directly at the gates
Alternative: Taipei Pass 1-day NT$180, 2-day NT$310, 3-day NT$440, 5-day NT$700 (unlimited MRT + city bus rides) — Worth it only if you're taking roughly 6 or more MRT/bus rides in a single day, since a typical single MRT fare runs about NT$20-30. The NT$100 EasyCard fee is a non-refundable card cost with no stored value included — you top it up separately in NT$100/500/1,000 increments.
As of July 1, 2026, Taipei Metro's official site confirms tap-in/tap-out with physical contactless bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay, Diners Club, Discover) or linked mobile wallets now works directly at fare gates — this is a very recent rollout, so EasyCard is a good backup for buses or locations where it may not yet be fully supported. If returning an EasyCard for refund, the remaining balance is refunded minus a NT$20 handling fee (within 3 months); the initial NT$100 is not refunded.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
Roads around the Presidential Office Building start area will be closed,
so it is safest to get off at a nearby MRT station such as NTU Hospital Station or Taipei Main Station and walk in from outside the restricted area.
For the finish, an official shuttle bus runs between Exit 1 of Yuanshan MRT Station and Gate 8 of Dajia Riverside Park.
Outbound buses operate from 07:00 to 08:00 and return buses from 08:00 to 10:30.
Participant materials are sent by courier only, with no on-the-day pickup, so you must confirm a delivery address in Taiwan by November 4.
Registration closes on September 14.
Entry fee costs half marathon 1,300 New Taiwan dollars, 10km 800 New Taiwan dollars and 3km 600 New Taiwan dollars,
plus a separate 100 New Taiwan dollar timing-chip deposit.
Times are local to Taipei. Check the latest official information before the race.
