Passing the reed beds of Wusong Paotaiwan Wetland and the international cruise terminal, it enters the former Baosteel site before finish.

Wusongkou International Cruise Port/Wusongkou Taiwan National Wetland Park

It starts from Zhengde Square at Baogang Gate No. 2, passes through the steel mill area, a 12.56km riverside straight road, Wusongkou Cruise Port, and ends at Wusongpo Taiwan National Wetland Park (south of Hekou Science Museum).

The Shanghai Changtan half marathon (上海长滩half marathon) is laid out as a course that starts at Baoshan Sports Center,

threads through the reed beds of Wusong Paotaiwan Wetland Park,

runs beside Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal where giant cruise ships berth,

then enters the grounds of the Baosteel works to meet the finish at Baosteel Sports Center.

Of the half marathon course's 21.0975km, 12.56km follow the riverside — the so-called 'Binjiang' stretch —

and the organisers present this course as a 4-part course experiencing 'urban life — wetland nature — international cruise — modern industry' in turn.

The finish of the Fun Run (Fun Run) division is at Sea World.

Registration for the previous edition was conducted in advance from mid-August to mid-September,

with results announced by lottery if applications exceeded capacity.

The Entry fee was priced at 120 yuan for half marathon and 50 yuan for the family-participation Fun Run.

Race materials were collected at a designated location through advance reservation several days before race day.
