THE DREAM
The Taiwan International Marathon is a road race held at Metropolitan Park in southern Tainan.
Detailed information has been confirmed for the 11 January 2026 edition;
the date of the next edition has not been confirmed in official sources.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
Vivian Hsu wrote that there was a cheering team along every stretch of the course, that she was grateful to the volunteers and traffic-control staff, and that the noodles she ate at the race were memorable. Huang Ying-chen wrote that after a delayed start, they were in the sun during the second half, though the breeze was cool. They recalled that the main entrance to the Chimei Museum was impressive, but were disappointed by the spacing between aid stations and the waits at traffic lights.
Their race in brief
