From Shin-Matsuda Station, a paid event-dedicated bus runs to the venue (roughly 70 min — verify with the organizer).
Alternatively, take the JR Gotemba Line to Yamakita Station, then a local bus (about 35 min) toward the Tanzawa Lake area.

The 48th running of the race uses the Kashimayamakita High School grounds as the gathering venue.
The opening ceremony starts at 9:10 a.m., followed by the 10 km and 3.3 km at 10:00 a.m. and the special 20 km at 11:25 a.m.,
with the closing ceremony scheduled for around 1:30 p.m. The entry limits are 800 for the special 20 km, 1,000 for the 10 km,
and 200 for the 3.3 km, for a total of 2,000 runners (minimum field: 1,000).
Online registration is open from July 17 to September 15, 2026, while postal money order applications are valid if postmarked by September 1.
Entry fee costs 6,000 yen for both the 10 km and special 20 km,
while the 3.3 km costs 3,000 yen for general entrants and 2,000 yen for elementary and junior high school students.
Parking costs 700 yen per vehicle with advance registration.
Time limit time limits are 145 minutes for the special 20 km, 75 minutes for the 10 km, and 35 minutes for the 3.3 km.
From the Tokyo area, the journey takes about 70 minutes by the paid event shuttle bus from Shin-Matsuda Station on the Odakyu Line.
Public transport is recommended because parking is limited.
The race will go ahead as scheduled in rainy weather unless conditions are severe, such as torrential rain.
