Both the start and finish are at Meihu Sports Centre, specifically on Liangguan Road in front of the swimming hall.

Course follows the main urban roads Jiangdong East Road and Shangbo Road,

passes through the botanical garden’s ecological section and turns back at Shangcheng Avenue.

After turnaround point, course returns to Meihu Sports Centre via Jiangbin North Road and Zhongze Road.

The name Shangcheng Avenue itself means “Trade City Avenue”,

reflecting Yiwu’s identity as a hub for small-commodities trading and expressing that identity in the course name.

The organizers call the layout “a combination of sport and commerce”.

The full 21.0975km half marathon follows a loop centred on Meihu Sports Centre.

You must bring your own valid identification documents, such as a 2nd-generation ID card, Hong Kong and Macau travel permit, or passport.
The chip, bib number, and race wristband must be collected in person by the athlete (proxy collection is not allowed), and there will be no on-site collection desk on the morning of the race day.

10th anniversary 2026 edition confirmed for this date. Per 2024 edition (2026 traffic notice not yet published): vehicle-restricted zone bounded by Bingwang Rd, Qingbo Rd, Zongze Rd and Jiangdong Rd, wider 7:00-11:30 control zone also covering Chunfeng Ave, Daton Rd and Xicheng North Rd.

Start shuttle

Yiwu has no metro. Free rolling shuttle (departs when full) from the Fohua Line Shuanglin Temple village entrance to the venue.

Designated remote parking at multiple lots (Admin Buildings, Wuai New Village, Survey Institute, Xincheng Wuyue Plaza, Riverside Green Corridor, Kaixin Hotel, library/archives). Organizers recommend public transit, carpooling, or taxi over driving.

Transit card

Yiwu buses accept Alipay's 'Yiwu Cloud Transit Card' (义乌云交通卡) ride code and UnionPay QuickPass, plus a local app called '恒风行.' A July 2026 official notice discontinued an older WeChat mini-program transit-alliance QR code and e-card, pushing riders toward standard Alipay/WeChat payment codes. No metro exists in Yiwu (a county-level city under Jinhua prefecture).

The 2025 race started at 7:30 a.m. on November 23 under the slogan "10,000 runners witness the vitality of the Silk Road." The 2026 race is scheduled for November 22, with its rating changed from World Athletics Elite Label to Standard Label.

Yiwu has a humid temperate climate, with an average November high of 18.6°C (about 66°F)—far cooler than midsummer,

when average highs hit 34.6°C in July and 33.8°C in August.

The 2025 winning times were 1:04:44 for men and 1:12:12 for women.

The field is capped at 15,000.

Apart from a stretch through the botanical garden's ecological area, the course sticks mostly to Yiwu's main downtown arteries, making it an urban course.

Shangcheng Boulevard, where the turnaround point is, literally means "Trade City Boulevard."
