THE DREAM
“La Ronde Hivernale” is a winter 10K in Thaon-les-Vosges, in France’s Vosges region.
It is a rolling course consisting of two laps of a 5km loop.
With 244 runners finishing in under 35 minutes, it is considered one of France’s top 10K destinations for chasing a fast time.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“The final 1km is really tough, with a headwind and packed snow again.”
At the 10km Ronde Hivernale de Thaon, snow on the canal path made footing difficult and slowed the runner's pace. They battled the final headwind to finish in 41 minutes 22 seconds, satisfied given the conditions.
