A day you'll remember,
long past the finish line.

A 20.4km mountain charity race.

It starts at Yau Tam Mei Farm in Yuen Long and finishes at the Hong Kong Baptist Cemetery,

passing Ngau Tam Shan, Kei Lun Shan, Sai Ling, Tai Shek Mo, and Wah Shan.

Categories are Challenge, Open, Elite, Team, and Group, with a field cap of 700.

Challenge category: 5 hours; Team category: 8 hours

The Challenge category has a time limit of 5 hours, and applicants must submit proof of finishing a trail race of 30km or more.

The Group category starts at 8:00 AM with teams of 3, and has a time limit of 8 hours.

The race is organized by the Sha Tau Kok Culture and Ecology Association,

with former Secretary for the Environment Professor Wong Kam-sing serving as "Green Ambassador" and trail coach Tsang Siu-keung ("Stone") as "Event Ambassador."

Participants receive a race pack including a commemorative t-shirt, bib, timing chip, bag-check tag, and outdoor gear vouchers.

Finishers within the time limit receive an electronic finisher certificate and event finisher medal,

with awards for the top 3 in each category as well as a separate award for the highest fundraising amount.

Field size: 200 places (first come, first served)
Typical race-season temperature: around 22°C (71°F): Short sleeves — hydrate for the warmth

Getting to the start

Start at 元朗攸潭尾美農樂營 (Ng Tung Wai Farm Camp, Yuen Long). No MTR station nearby.

Take Public Light Bus route 37 from the minibus terminus near Sun Yuen Long Centre on Yuen Long Main Road, ride ~20-25 min to the terminus 攸潭尾村公所, then walk ~3 minutes to the camp. No public parking near the venue.

City listed as HK; actual location is Yuen Long (start) to Ping Che near Fanling (finish), North District, Hong Kong. Date 2026-11-08 confirmed.

Getting to the finish

粉嶺站 (Fanling MTR Station) is the nearest MTR connection point after the finish

Finish at 香港浸會園 (Hong Kong Baptist University Camp), Ping Che (坪輋). From finish, walk ~5 min to a bus stop and take bus 79K (~15-20 min) to Fanling MTR Station, or take minibus 52K directly.

From race morning to after the finish.

Know them ahead and the run feels easier.

Hong Kong in November — around 22°C on average, with comfortable running conditions.

However, the sun becomes stronger toward midday, so all you need is one light outer layer to remove before the start.

Entry fee uses a tiered pricing system that increases over time.

It starts at 220 HKD and rises to 300 HKD as the closing date approaches.

On trails, the surface determines your pace.

Wear trail shoes with good grip, and on wet roots and rocky sections, focus on staying upright rather than trying to make up time.

Registration closes on October 25, 2026.
