This is the half marathon in Shanghai’s Qingpu New Town.
Starting at Qinglifang Sports Center, it links the new city with historic sites including the Songze Ruins Museum,
Wanshou Pagoda, and Huancheng Water System Park.
A first-come, first-served half marathon through Qingpu, a waterside district extending toward Dianshan Lake.

RACE WEEK
Know the course and time limit, and race day comes into focus.
We have not confirmed the start line coordinates yet. The map shows the host city.
Based on the previous edition (2024), the Qingpu application half marathon started at Qinglifang Sports Center and was held as a 21.0975km course,
finishing at the point where Dianshanhu Avenue and Qingshun Road meet for the finish.
The course was designed to take runners past a string of local highlights and landmarks,
including Baolong Plaza, the Songze Site Museum, Wanshou Tower, Zhidao Academy,
Huancheng Water System Park, Qingpu Shuangqiao, and Qingpu Wanda Mao,
making it a distinctive course view of Qingpu New City, where new-town development and historic relics coexist.

Participant Packet Pickup pickup information has not yet been announced.
Chinese races typically announce the pickup location and time through their official WeChat account 1–2 weeks before the race; participants generally must bring their own ID, and proxy pickup is not permitted.
Per prior edition (2024 Yangtze River Delta/Qingpu New City Half Marathon): start at Qinglifang Sports Center in Qingpu District, Shanghai. No specific metro station confirmed, though Qingpu District is served by Shanghai Metro Line 17 and Line 2.
Finish at the intersection of Dianshan Lake Avenue and Qingshun Road, near Dianshan Lake.

Based on the previous edition (2024), registration opened at noon on November 15 and ran on a first-come,
first-served basis through the 25th, with early closure once capacity was reached.
The half marathon finish time limit was 3 hours 10 minutes, while the concurrently held Welcome Run (Fun Run) had a 1-hour limit.
The race was held between 5:00 AM and noon, generally taking place in the cool late-autumn weather around Shanghai.
The exact registration schedule and time limit for the 2026 race should be confirmed separately once the official announcement is released.
