The runner took part in the half marathon in 2025. Starting from the last group, the runner faced continuous gentle climbs and a steep section around 10 km, and got through it with Okhotsk hairy crab soup and aid stations. The runner's total time was 2 hours 39 minutes 23 seconds, and the net time was 2 hours 34 minutes 22 seconds.

Venue is Yamagata Prefectural General Sports Park (山形県総合運動公園), about 4km/8min drive from Tendo Station.
Per prior edition (2025) info: free shuttle buses (no reservation needed) run from Tendo Station East Exit (via Tendo Onsen Shrine) and from Yamadera Station to the venue.
